Hoisted by Their Own Patard, Cavaliers Can't Keep Up With the Pace.
The Pacers' Rebellion. Carlisle the Wise Commands the Collapse of the Crown.
The East has many fearsome warriors and foes. The crowned and destined to be king again Celtics, the fearless Bucks and their genetically gifted leader, and the Knicks and their world-renowned battle grounds. Though fearsome in their own right, few have faced the Cavaliers in the Region of Clevaeron and lived to tell the tale. Blessed by the Oracle, the Cavaliers were anointed the Number One Seed in the Battle for the East. This is a rare event, said to bring with it glory and triumph. Only the previous King of Clevaeron has had such an accolade. The promised King brought with him glory, yes, triumph of course, but most of all, he brought dominance to the Cavaliers. A dominance that Sir. Mitchell, or as some call him "The Spida", sought to bring his realm.
The fall of the Cavaliers from grace will be studied by scholars, poets, and historians alike for years to come. After winning 34 battles out of 41 in the realm of Clevaeron, their victory was all but assured. However, as the second round of the Battle of the East began, an underestimated band of rouges and renegades from the lowlands of Indianara, simply called the Pacers, marched in defiance into the path of the Cavaliers. Though their armor bore no gold, and their banners had no stars, the Pacers stood unbowed to the promised Eastern force.
Led by the Dime Collector Haliburton, whose illusionary footwork and rock-moving abilities baffled even the wise and formidable Jarret the Tower Allen, the Pacers were not here to simply watch prophecy unfold. They were here to rewrite it. Guided by the wisdom of Carlisle of the Isles, once a crowned champion himself, the strategy, battle tactics, and unwavering fortitude of the Pacers have proven too much for the Cavaliers. Though some had dismissed the Pacers as inexperienced and inconsistent, they march forward unbroken towards an even tougher battle against a foe yet to be decided.
